MICRODERMABRASION

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other skin-related concerns and conditions.

The procedure uses a special applicator with an abrasive surface to gently sand away the thick outer layer of the skin to rejuvenate it.

Microdermabrasion is considered a safe procedure for most skin types and colors. People might choose to get the procedure if they have the following skin concerns:

• fine lines and wrinkles
• hyperpigmentation, age spots and brown spots
• enlarged pores and blackheads
• acne and acne scars
• stretch marks
• dull-looking skin complexion

A diamond-tip handpiece is designed to gently exfoliate dead cells in your skin. At the same time, it will suction them off immediately.

The depth of the abrasion may be affected by the pressure applied on the handpiece as well as how long the suction is allowed to remain on the skin. 

A smaller tip is and/or less suction is used in more sensitive facial areas, like close to the eyes and the neck area.

 There is very little to now downtime, however some common side effects of microdermabrasion may include mild tenderness, swelling, and redness. These generally go away within a few hours after treatment.

ULTRASOUND FACIAL THERAPY

During an ultrasound (also known as ultrasonic) facial, high level sound wave technology is used to penetrate deep below the surface of the skin.

COLD HAMMER FACIAL

The cold hammer is designed to cool down the skin after a dermabrasion treatment and to reduce the redness of the skin. The cold side soothes tired and overheated skin, and closes pores while locking moisture into the skin.

The hot and cold hammer massage is a facial treatment tool, with both sides of the hammer head reaching different temperatures (one hot, one cold) simultaneously. The hot side of the hammer relaxes and opens pores while stimulating blood circulation beneath the skin.
